AP Exam
Each spring, students enrolled in Advanced Placement courses have the opportunity to take an AP examination. A passing score on this exam (a 3, 4 or 5) earns college credit at most colleges and universities. (For detailed credit acceptance use AP Credit Policy Search) WHS strongly encourages students enrolled in AP courses to plan to take at least one of their AP exams each spring. WHS and RJUHSD only offer AP Exams to students who attend school in the RJUHSD district.
AP Cost Deadlines & Payments
Exams can be paid for in person with a check or cash at the WHS finance window. Or payments can be made on the WHS Webstore The fee for AP Exams this year will be $101 per exam. Checks can be made out to WHS. Please be aware that webstore payments have an ~3% added fee.
A Note About Fee Reductions
Some students will qualify for a fee reduction for their exams. If a student qualifies, their exam is offered a significantly lower price. In order to qualify, however, students must qualify for free or reduced lunch. If you believe that you will qualify for a reduced fee for AP Exams, please complete this form.
For Fall and Year Long Courses
Exam fees are due no later than November 4th.
For Spring Courses
Payments are due no later than March 1st.
Refunds
Refunds will not be issued for exams under any circumstances.
