We started a YouTube Channel for you. We have lots of short videos about the plants and animals at the Woodcreek Nature Center.Tell your students to check them out.
The Woodcreek Nature Center Docents invite elementary school students to join them for a fun, outdoor educational adventure in the wetlands preserve behind W.H.S. We have FREE programs for students in grades K-3 that include puppet shows, skits, games, tracks identification, live animal lessons and more. Due to increased cost of supplies to run the nature center we are asking for a voluntary donation of $1 per student. Our nature center has a variety of habitats to explore including: wetlands, vernal pools, oak woodlands and grasslands. We offer two shows most days from March through May. Check out the Calendar for specific dates and times. Each grade level program is designed to review a different set of science standards, so review our different programs on this site to see which one best matches your current curriculum. To schedule a field trip email Nate Giorgi ngiorgi@rjuhsd.us. Scheduling will begin in early September.
