About

History

What started as an idea between friends, quickly has turned into one of the most rewarding clubs on Woodcreek High School´s campus. Shane Harvey, Assistant Principal and original founder of the club, decided to attempt to have his military history classes do a MURPH as a fun final for his class. When speaking with James Kinloch and Lucas Conn, he decided to expand this idea into a club and name it the Salute to Service Club. This is how the club started in 2023. What started as a way to raise money for Wounded Warrior and provide a fun opportunity to workout, quickly has turned into a club that now provides resources to active duty and veteran service members in the Roseville community. Now led by Lucas Conn and James Kinloch, the Salute to Service Club strives to continuously engage with the military community through our various community service events, as well as our annual MURPH Challenge held at Woodcreek High School every Memorial Day.
