Community Service Opportunities

Throughout their high school career, students may be required to serve a certain amount of hours of community service. Many clubs require this if a student wants to become (and remain) a member. Some colleges and scholarship committees favor students who have volunteered. It is always a good idea to spend some time giving back to our community.

The College & Career Center provides a list of local organizations that are often looking for volunteers. You can find that list here. Additionally, local elementary schools and churches often need event volunteers so feel free to reach out to them directly.
